Bio diagnosed with DCIS, ducatal carcinoma confined to the duct ( although it was intrusive so it is just ductal carsinoma) i thought i would keep a journal to record thoughts, apointments, treatments, and the war i will be waging.
i am a 45 year old woman, high school teacher, just finished my masters in education. married 22 years, mother of an 18 year old young man about to graduate high school with honors and start college with an electrical engineering/technology degree. i was going to go for my doctorate but life has been thrown for a loop for a while. i am a member of the SCA, ski, snowmobile, and paint. we own a brittany, or should i say we have a brittany as a member of our family.
